Council for evaluating environmental research ready for launch
January 2012 will see the launch of the Mistra Council for Environmental Evaluation (MCEE). In the past few days the members of the Council´s Executive Committee and its Director, Sif Johansson, have been appointed.

Mistra invests some SEK 200 million in research annually. The aim of every Mistra programme is to contribute to solving major environmental problems.
Mistra’s asset management seeks to reflect the Foundation’s remit: to help solve environmental problems and work for sustainable development. It must take place in a manner that represents a reasonable balance with the requirements, laid down in the statutes, of a good return and limited risk.

Since 1 April 2007, the whole of Mistra’s asset management and all its placements have been governed by sustainable criteria.
